The awkward first blog: detailing my trip

Rather than bore blog-readers with my reasons for travelling, for this route in particular, for doing much of the trip on my own, I’m going to stick to the facts for this first blog. I’ll touch on the rest further down the line.

Four weeks in Europe this Summer.

A map of the first part of my route. Thanks Google.

[A – Stockholm, B – Malmö, C – Copenhagen, D – Berlin, E – Leipzig, F – Dresden, G – Prague, H – Vienna, I – Ljubljana, J – Venice, K – Lake Garda]

That will take me 3 weeks; I’m still working on week #4!

I’m blogging because I found that a lot of the advice I needed was not easily accessible online; different information from different sources left me all a bit confused so hopefully blog-readers can learn from my mistakes. By this, I primarily mean travel, as I’ve eschewed an Interrail pass convinced that I can get around more cheaply; wish me luck!

My priorities; travelling cheaply, meeting new people, coming home with some great stories to tell.
